The school came into existence on the 5th August 1991 in present Saraswati Shishu Mandir building after an MOU between D.A.V. College Managing Committee, New Delhi and South Eastern Coalfields Limited, to impart qualitative education amalgamated with Vedic culture to prepare the children to meet the challenges of life and the times ahead.
